Mr. Samria is the founding partner and heads the overall practice of the firm. He has 4 decades of experience in industry and profession and has expertise in industrial rehabilitation, financial restructuring, industrial and projects consultancy, tax planning, international taxation and audit. He has extensive experience in Income Tax and Company Law and has represented clients before the Income Tax Tribunal and the Company Law Board. He has contributed several articles of professional interest on Company Law and Taxation in the Economic Times and other professional journals.

ADHAR SAMRIA, B. Com., FCA, Grad CWA, MBA (UK), DISA, Qualified in 1995 (Mumbai Office)

Adhar has become full time partner from December 2004. Prior to this he was a part time partner of the firm since October 1995. Adhar looks after the consultancy and internal audit practice of the firm. Adhar has more than 10 years experience in Industry, Consultancy and one of the big 4 Audit firms in the field of Audit, MIS, financial feasibility studies, Investor Relations practices and improvement of operational efficiency. Adhar has completed his MBA from Manchester Business School, UK with a distinction and was amongst the top 10 students. He is an all India merit holder in CA Final and Intermediate exams and in CWA Intermediate exams.

SHIVRAJ RATHI, B. Com., FCA, Qualified in 2002 (Mumbai Office)

Shivraj has become partner from December 2004 and heads the Kandivali office (Mumbai suburb office) of the firm. Shivraj heads the financial services practice of the firm and specializes in Compliance, Audit, Internal Audit and Income Tax work of Investment Companies and Broking Companies. He also works on assisting companies in preparing project reports and raising funds from Banks. Prior to joining Samria & Co., Shivraj was having his own individual practice in Mumbai since 2002. Before joining practice, Shivraj has worked in Accounts departments of ICICI Home Finance Ltd. and Pepsi Snacks and Foods Marketing Co. Ltd.

VIVEK JAIN, B. Com., FCA, Qualified in 2007 (Mumbai Office)

Vivek is a partner in the firm since April 2008. Before becoming a partner he has been associated with the firm as a paid employee since June 2004. He specialises in Statutory and Tax Audit, Income Tax, TDS and Company Law. He has audited companies in different sectors like Manufacturing, IT, Construction, Education, Banks, and Insurance Companies. Prior to joining Samria & Co., Vivek was associated with S P Jain & Co., and P D Saraf & Co.

RAKESH TOTLA, B. Com., FCA, MBA, Qualified in 1998 (Nagpur Office)

Rakesh became a full time partner from December 2004 and heads the Nagpur Office of the firm. Rakesh specialises in internal audit, designing MIS systems and fixed asset management. Rakesh has handled internal audit and system design work of companies in sectors like Processed Food, Automobile and Consumer Durable Distributor, Colleges and Broking Companies Prior to this Rakesh was practicing in his individual capacity in Nagpur since July 1999.
